Founded in 2022, the Virginia Guitar Directors Association aims to support the teachers and students of the guitar in Virginia schools. VGDA is a section of Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA.) . The VGDA assist advancement of music education as well as in the acquisition and provision of instruments, music, travel, materials and supplies, and other support services.
