Our Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is full of fruity notes with an aroma of flowers and a bright, snappy finish.  Because it is cultivated at high altitudes, the fruit stays on the tree longer and matures fully.  Natural processing means the bean is dried while still attached to the fruit.  This coffee has a higher acidity profile than those from other regions.

First crack: 9 minutes

Roasting establishes the aroma and flavor that is locked inside the green coffee bean. The roasting process causes chemical changes as the beans are quickly brought to very high temperatures. When they reach the desired roasting profile, they are cooled rapidly to stop the process.

Shipping

We ship our freshly roasted coffee on Monday and Friday each week. If your order is received by Thursday evening, it will ship on Friday; orders received by Saturday evening will ship on Monday.

The margin between dark roasted and over-roasting is narrow, and our dark roasts are packed full of flavor.
