Roasting establishes the aroma and flavor that is locked inside the green coffee bean. The roasting process causes chemical changes as the beans are quickly brought to very high temperatures. When they reach the desired roasting profile, they are cooled rapidly to stop the process.
We ship our freshly roasted coffee on Monday and Friday each week. If your order is received by Thursday evening, it will ship on Friday; orders received over the weekend will ship on Monday.

Rich and robust, but not overpowering.
Very good flavor, perhaps could use a few minutes longer in the roaster. (This is more of a medium-dark roast.)
I used to be able to get a fine Kenya AA in Kalamazoo, but we moved and I lost easy access--so nice to have these beans!
The title says it all, this is the first coffee I've had from this company and I am impressed. I can't wait to try the others!
